Frontier in Space

Galactic empires on the brink of war!
The Doctor and Jo imprisoned and escaping and imprisoned and escaping!
An old enemy pulling the strings for an older enemy!
Hypnotic fear machine!
The Doctor firing a blaster!

I won't lie. It's slow in parts and some of the special effects have not worn so well, assuming that they ever looked great. But it's a really fun adventure for a lazy Saturday afternoon, and a truly epic tale that only Doctor Who could do.

the production with its bruises, broken collarbones
and rumors of worse kept from the media always
seemed on the edge of collapse, I tell you this:
When those beaten down methane-mining
rocketwomen soared past their cruel overmen
I did not see the strings.
